Greetings! I hope your summer is going well. Good News!!!

The NETRA website is up on the web. (There are still some things that need to be added.) Check it out at www.netra-tr.org. We also welcome any feedback.

Fall Conference is coming up November 2nd in Nashua. Be watching your mailbox for the registration brochure. We are still accepting speaker applications . . . please share your talents, and let us know if you'd like to do a presentation.

Annual NETRA awards will also be given at the conference, so please be thinking of therapists that deserve to be recognized for their hard work this year. Contact Beth Hunt.

If you want to get together before the conference, look out for our smaller gatherings: NETRAworkings! Contact Alicia Daley.

There continues to be lots of opportunities to volunteer with NETRA. We are particularly looking for people to help with the conference. Let me know through a call or email if you are interested in volunteer work. It's fun! And we need you!!

Finally, the ATRA Conference is coming up at the end of summer. I am hoping to see many of you there. The TR Promotions Merchandise will continue to be sold there. Come by the booth and see what NETRA and ATRA have done together. You can also still order merchandise online. www.atra-tr.org

Hello NETRA members! I hope you are all having an enjoyable summer, despite our record temperatures. Membership is growing, but of course we are still looking forward to gathering as many professionals and supporters that we can find.

Please check out our new website at www.netra.org. We're all very excited about it! It will be a great resource for members to find out up and coming conferences. The membership form will also be available online soon.

Any of you readers who have email, please send me your email address at Melindaunh99@aol.com so that we can incorporate your correct email address into NETRA's Yahoo account. This way we can contact you about various NETRA news in between newsletters. Thanks!

As you may know, each fall NETRA gives out a variety of awards during the fall conference to recognize well deserving professionals in the field. I've sent out a list of the available awards, eligibility criteria and the process to follow for submitting a nomination. So put on your thinking caps and nominate a deserving professional for a NETRA award!!

Our sympathies to Debbie Cook

Our thoughts and prayers are with Debbie Cook, CTRS, who lost her mom to leukemia on July 3rd. Debbie has been an example for us all of love, dedication and endurance. Debbie, our hearts are with you!
